Jetpack added google analytics integration feature science jetpack 4.6. Jetpack already have site states, you know but google analytics is a complete tracking tool and its free. Adding your site in google analytics is not a big deal but jetpack made it easier for us. In this post, I will show you how to integrate jetpack and google analytics.

What you Need
First, you need a jetpack account.
Second, you need a google analytics account and
Third, jetpack professional plan subscription.

How to Connect Jetpack with Google Analytics?
Let’s start with creating a new account in google analytics. Go to Google analytics and signup and click on create a new account.
You will get a web interface like below, fill all the blank fields with the relevant data like account name, website name, website URL and from the dropdown select your website category.

Now select all the checkboxes from the ‘data sharing settings’ and click on Get the tracking id.
After clicking that a popup will appear there like the image below. It’s the google terms and services accepting popup. Select the checkboxes and simply accept the terms and conditions. You will be redirected then to the tracking id page.

The tracking ID looks like something like this –

Now it’s time to jetpack. Go to jetpack settings > Google analytics and paste the google analytics tracking id. Click on save and you are done.

Now, your Google Analytics is integrated with the jetpack.
